Eddie Roche, our club president and a lifelong Spurs fan, recently celebrated his 90th birthday. Members of Lourdes Celtic committee contacted Tottenham Hotspur to let them know that at Lourdes Celtic we have the real 'Special One'...
We told Spurs of Eddie's lifelong commitment to the game and how he helped set up Lourdes Celtic Football Club over 6o years ago. We described how he has seen thousands of kids pass through the gates at Sundrive Park including senior internationals, a world boxing champion and a MMA world champion.
A week later, José Mourinho got in touch...
Needless to say, Eddie was delighted. A huge thank you to José and the staff at Spurs. Football is truly a global family.

Dear Eddie,
I received a very kind email telling me what a loyal and passionate Tottenham Hotspur fan you are, which is fantastic to hear and I should like to thank you for your much appreciated support.
I understand that you have recently celebrated your 90th birthday and I would like to wish you a belated many happy returns on behalf of all the staff and players at Spurs.
I would also like to take this opportunity pass on the gratitude of all at Lourdes Celtic Football Club for all the hard work and dedication you have put into the setting up and running of the club.
