The right start.

Lourdes Celtic Football Club caters for boys and girls from the ages of 4-18 with an academy for our youngest members. Beginning at Under 8s, we have a number of boys teams in each age group across Saturday/Sunday leagues, and a fast growing girls section.

With our child-centred approach, FAI/UEFA accredited coaches and modern facilities, Lourdes Celtic F.C. offers the right start in football for kids of all ages. As well as learning the sport, your child will benefit from healthy exercise routines, and an opportunity to develop the life skills that are intrinsic to team sports. Little Lions | Ages 4-7

Our Little Lions' Academy is where your child's journey will begin.

Boys and girls from the ages of 4 to 7 will learn the FUNdamentals of football in a welcoming, safe and engaging environment. Our coaches are FAI/UEFA qualified as well as Garda vetted and will teach your child the key techniques for football such as passing, dribbling, shooting and receiving – all through our carefully designed, child-centered syllabus.

Our Academy takes place every Saturday at Sundrive Pavilion, Éamonn Ceannt Park, Crumlin.

Boys 4-5yrs: 12.30-1.30pm

Boys 6-7yrs: 1.30-2.30pm

Girls 4-7yrs: 1.30-2.30pm

Little Lions' Academy is €25 registration (includes kit and insurance) and then €5 weekly.

Get in touch with us to confirm times and available space for your child. Walk-ins are always welcome, even if it's just to check it all out!

Your child will then progress to our schoolboy/girl section of the club.

At Lourdes Celtic we follow the FAI player development plan, which sees your child gradually progress through different playing formats and pitch dimensions as they grow, learn and develop. Post academy we begin with teams playing 5v5 before progressing to 7v7 , 9v9 and eventually at U13, the 11-a-side full game is coached.

Our aim is to have as many teams playing as possible at each age group to accommodate each child's level of learning as they progress during their time at the club. Read more about our philosophy >

FAI Football For All

The Football for All (FFA) programme caters for people with a disability who would ordinarily not have the chance to play football and be part of a team. As a registered FFA club, Lourdes Celtic supports those who may struggle to achieve their goals in a traditional competitive environment. Lourdes Celtic F.C. FFA programme is one of the largest and longest established in Ireland, with players representing Leinster at regional level and Ireland at international level.

Lourdes Celtic wouldn't exist without the time and support of volunteers. The number of past players who return to coach is a testiment to the family feel of the club. We encourage parents to get involved if they'd like to help and many of our younger teams are led by an experienced coach paired with a parent.

We provide internal workshops and access to FAI courses for those new to coaching as well as those with experience. But non-coaching roles are also available – just support in the running of the team itself is always welcome.

Getting involved is a great way to give back. Interested? Get in touch with us via WhatsApp or Facebook.

Registration Fees and Subscriptions

As a community club, we make every effort to keep yearly registration fees and monthly subscriptions costs as low as possible. Your contributions ensure we can operate, improve facilities, and continue to invest in the development and well-being of every child at the club. Fees can vary by age group and a percentage of our fees go to the League itself. For more information on fees, chat with us on WhatsApp, Facebook or contact the club chairperson at

The FAI Small Sided Games (SSG) format, from U7s-U12s, gives kids the space and time to develop their confidence and skills.
We have a fast-growing girls section at the club.
Team outings are an important way to build togetherness and keep things fun.
